25. ”Letter“

A letter had come for Niki that day,
yet she told everyone,
“Oh, it’s just a friend,” in a playful way.
But the moment she read it,
her cheeks blushed into bright,
eyes turned dreamy, soft as twilight.
She couldn’t hide that shy little smile,
Everyone knew glow in her eyes while.
Inside her heart,
a melody soared on high,
as if she danced
with the clouds in open sky.
In the fading evening,
she slipped to the balcony’s grace,
a song bloomed gently
upon her lips & lighting her face.
The message had brought a time to meet…
no wonder
this rosy nightingale swayed to its beat,
& singing softly, dancing light….
