18. “Something to Say”

Nil took a quick shower,
& Raced his bike to college at the morning hour.
All day long,
lectures and workshops made him tired and slow,
By evening
he reached his room, feeling dull and low.
Not a single messagereached Niki‘s phone,
She too woke up late, lost in dreams anew.
Their hunger was filled, though they were far apart,
But words from the heart stayed trapped in the chat.
Feelings stayed hidden, locked deep inside,
While daily calls & SMS
were their only guide.
Days slipped away in this hurried stream,
They spoke to the stars till dawn would gleam.
There was something to say, just a little to share,
They decided to meet after exams were over, with care.
