Nil took a quick shower,
Raced bike to college at the morning hr.
All day long,
lectures & workshops made tired & slow,
By evening
he reached his room, feeling dull & low.
Not a single message reached Niki‘s phone,
She too woke up late, lost in dreams anew.
Their hunger was filled,
though they were far apart,
But words from the heart
stayed trapped in the chat,
Feelings stayed hidden
locked deep inside,
While daily calls & SMS
were their only guide,
Days slipped away
in this hurried stream,
They spoke to the stars
till dawn would gleam,
There was something to say
just a little to share,
They decided to meet
after exams were over, with care.
