You came into my life
like a soft moonbeam,
Quietly settling in my heart
calming every dream,

The moon teases the sky so high
then hides in clouds, upset and shy,

My silent soul whispers only your name
A strange restlessness inside feels the same,

These tender words reveal
the feelings I hide,
No beginning
…yet my heart says “yes,” deep inside,

This world feels
empty, lonely, silent, & bare,
If even for moment
you’re not here,

When we feel each other’s absence deep
A quiet dew gathers in eyelids’ we keep,

We wander alone
searching our own mind,
When distance makes
your presence hard to find,

Breathing feels heavy, the world feels bare
Silent is the moon, the stars, everywhere,

You are a warm breath on a healing scar
We are the ocean of joy…boundless, afar,

Remembering you for no reason feels true
We are a heaven of dreams … forever new,

Once unknowingly
our paths crossed in time,
By chance
we once met, unaware then,
We’d walk together
through lives again & again,
Our hearts forever tuned
for me & you… same,

With you
my soul finds its gentle peace,
With you
a new world of joy finds release,

Whenever you glow like a moon
