She had melted away in thoughts
for him & he too,

Quietly drifted somewhere
in that same stream new,
Her breaths carried only his fragrance
with her, he felt himself truly alive,

Its like a dream
that must never break,
A hope that
day & night continues to awake,

His name alone rests softly on her lips,
This familiar bond adorns
the chamber of their hearts,

Unfinished words,
unfinished moments,
unfinished emotions…
As they hum our song
her soul blooms once,

Just hearing
her name makes his heart smile,
Speaking to him
she forget even herself for a while,

Each moment, she feels only him
in every word, he writes only of her,

In solitude or moments of unrest,
memories pour down in nest,

Her shy & tender moments
quietly surround him from all sides.

The longing for her arrival
stirs a deep ache within,
with tear-brimmed eyes
his thoughts drift far again.

Her gaze rises
just to look at him for a moment,
& when eyes meet
she shy away …overwhelmed & silent.

His ears yearn to hear
her voice again,
& if he stood before her
she might lose herself right then,

May his hand remain
gently held her,
& may their conversation
flow on through paused timer,

Will the thirst in these eyes
ever truly fade?
Day by day….
The bond between them
only grows more tightly laid….
