9. “Hospital Bed!”

Niki stepped out
like she was on a mission,
Hurry on her face
heart craving coffee’s addiction,
On the way
her friends stopped her scooty,
Her face looked upset
but their giggles broke her moody.
A smile bloomed
on her almost-teary face,
She said, “Come on girls
let’s have coffee at our place!”
They sat together, forgot about time
Lost in laughter, feeling just fine,
But rushing ahead, she took a race
on the wrong-side chase,
The police blew the whistle…
& caught her in a case!
At the turn
the scooty slipped with speed,
Too much hurry made time take the lead.
All three fell down like bread in between,
&
Not CCD anymore
…a hospital bed was seen!
