Morning came,
Nil met Suhas at Deccan square
Slowly-slowly Nil woke from his despair.
A friendship that spoke day
& night without end…
Such bonds don’t break, they simply bend.
Dark clouds can’t forever hide the sky
they drift away as time goes by.
With his bags packed
Nil left for his village so far,
Saying,
“Forget Niki now… erase that scar.”
