A pilot
In dreams of soaring high, I sought my flight,
To be a pilot, conquering the boundless height.
Wings outstretched, I yearned to take command,
To dance with clouds, destiny would expand.
Oh, how I longed to touch the heavens above,
Witness the world from a vantage so beloved
To gaze upon the earth, a tapestry below,
Where stories unfold, and life’s wonders grow.
The thrill of speed, a rush through the air,
A dance with freedom, beyond worldly affairs.
But dreams can be elusive, like fleeting birds,
Sometimes de’re grounded,unseen & unheard
Life’s currents may divert our chosen course,
Yet hope lingers, a constant guiding force.
Though I may not pilot a plane of steel,
My spirit soars on wings I’ll always feel.
For in the dreams we cherish,
our hearts align,
And truest flights
of fancy forever intertwine.
So, let me be a dreamer, a pilot at heart,
Exploring the horizons, where fantasies start.
With every breath, I’ll taste sky’s grand view,
And in my dreams, I’ll fly, forever anew.
